Dairy Free Cream Cheese
Ingredients
Prep time: 5 Minutes
1 14 oz. can coconut milk
1.5 tsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
pinch of sea salt
2 - 4 tsp nutritional yeast (optional add as much to taste)
Directions
Open coconut milk (refrigerate overnight to make contents solid) and scoop the solids out of the can into a bowl. Save the liquid for smoothies or discard.
Mix cream, lemon juice, sea salt and nutritional yeast until completely smooth and creamy. Add more lemon juice or yeast to desired taste.
Refrigerate until firm, usually an hour or 2
The nutritional yeast is an option and you can add as much or little as you like.
